About Me

My name is Mike Fisher and I'm the superintendent of the Charles City Community School District, a wonderful northeast Iowa town that is diverse and progressive. I've been blessed to call this home with my wife Sarah and son Joshua. In previous leadings, I have been a building administrator at Hoover Middle School in Waterloo, Iowa and an instrumental music teacher at West Marshall Community Schools in State Center, Iowa. In each place I have been called, there has been a family of people that taught me so much about how to influence the world, serve others, and lessen the suffering of other people through the gift of public education.

It has been a privilege to be just a small part of this all these incredible journeys.  The best part of this adventure is working with children and the family of adults that devote their lives to serving them.
